August 2025, Méagui – The 2nd edition of Green Day, organized by SAN RUBBER, took place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Méagui Water and Forests camp. This highly successful initiative brought together SAN RUBBER employees and Water and Forests officers around a common objective: strengthening the preservation of the local environment and raising awareness about sustainable development challenges.
1. An edition focused on collective commitment
Following the first edition held in 2024, which was marked by a large-scale tree-planting campaign, the second edition successfully built upon this environmental momentum. Participants moved through plantations and wooded areas of the camp equipped with local tree seedlings, tools, and gloves to carry out a reforestation day driven by a shared determination to restore and enhance natural ecosystems.
2. Challenges and expected impacts
Environmental impacts: restoration of local ecosystems, protection against deforestation, and support for biodiversity.
Social impacts: mobilization of the professional community, promotion of an eco-responsible culture, and encouragement of sustainable practices.
Institutional impacts: a concrete demonstration of SAN RUBBER SA’s commitment to environmental standards, contributing to the company’s green reputation and sustainable certifications.
